Edmonton Girl Cake Smash Photography!!
Happy Birthday little one! This sweet girl gave me so many smiles during her St. Albert child milestone child photography session. We also did a cake smash at the end and she did not disappoint! Who doesn’t love the theme of shopping at Tiffany’s…a girls best friend really! I had all the shopping bags with the turquoise backdrop while this little one was in a damask black and white onesie and black tutu dress (this comes from my outfits wardrobe available to all my clients). I always add headbands to match the outfit and the decor! Just love her little smile and both her hands holding on to the white beads around her neck. I always love the shots above the head for children. This helps to open up their eyes and give you the sense of innocents while they look up to you. She also wore one of my hot pink lace rompers that always looks good on a little girl. I added the flower headband to match with the similar tones in the background and wrap lying on the floor. I like to tie in the colors in various ways when setting up my sets for a child photo session. For variety I added the woven basket with some balloons to show that she was turning one, and to mimic her in a hot air balloon. So cute! She also sat in a one of my brown wooden miniature beds to keep here from walking or crawling away from me. After this, we took the outfit off and put a pink wrap around her so that her shoulders would show and matched a flower headband and had her lie on her back so she could look up at me. I find these images are closeups and you get to see all the details in their cute little faces. Mom requested a blue, grey and star theme for the cake smash. I worked with her to buy a cake from a St. Albert bakery to match the decor. Mom also brought a blue tutu dress with an adorable onesie with her name on it. I think it turned out amazing! I just love girls with the color blue! If you are looking for a cake smash photographer in the St. Albert or Edmonton area, I would be happy to work with your little one! I know I can bring out their adorable little personality and get the most out of their 1st year cake smash session!
