Great Family Fall Photography Location in St. Albert, Alberta – GRANDIN POND

Enjoy a great walk or picnic and escape to Grandin Pond, St. Albert Alberta. This gem can be found in the heart of St. Albert just off of Grandin Road, where you can find a public parking lot. The fall family photo location offers tree lined trails, open field of grasses and wild flowers, benches and trellis full of climbing ivy. You can walk down to the lookout and find many ducks with their ducklings and muskrats swimming around. If you look up, you will also be able to spot many different types of birds. In the fall the bright yellow leaves offer a fantastic background for family photos. I love the open field with all the tall grasses and purple/burgundy flowers that bloom in the fall that adds for some variety in backgrounds within one perfect location.
