Edmonton Newborn Photography Session with baby Nikita
I am so excited to share baby Nikita’s Edmonton newborn photography session with you! I’ve had the honour of photographing this family for several years, and I can honestly say that I am blessed to have met all of them. I feel super special that I also get to spend time with Nikita’s Grandma during many of the photo sessions. Nikita started off a bit slow in the beginning of our session, she just wanted to be awake and take in her surroundings. Mom fed her, I held and rocked her, but it was Grandma who had the magic touch and she finally fell asleep. I wrapped her up to help get her to fall asleep and feel all cozy.
This photo was taken a little bit into the newborn session, and I think it is one of my favorite family photos of all time! There is such a sense of peace when you look at all them, and the love is flowing off of them like crazy!
This purple photo was taken in order to use it for another image below. I took baby from this image and put her into the other purple images with the wooden bowl.
There is something about white and neutral colors that make a newborn baby seem so innocent and pure. I just love how she opened her eyes for me! This was still at a stage where she was falling in and out of sleep.
This was the LAST image I took…yep…you just never know when your going to get he money shot. This is it! Nikita has this adorable little smirk/smile and her Big Brother is perfection.
I offered to take this photo of 3 family generations and I couldn’t be more pleased! You look stunning ladies!
Just love how Momma’s look at there precious newborn baby, you look amazing Mom!!!!
I just love the color of these flowers dusty rose pink (I am obsessed really:) Every opportunity I get to incorporate these flowers into a session, I will!
Here is big brother giving his baby sister a kiss! Mom requested a shot like this and I think it turned out amazing!
Grandma looks so beautiful with her Granddaughter!
I did a photo of Nikita’s brother similar to this and Grandma wanted to duplicate it. Of course I added a bit of lace and a flower headband to girly it up 🙂
