I was so excited to meet this beautiful family! When they came to the door, I was in love! This little guy Reid is so sweet and sleepy for his newborn session held in my home studio in St. Albert. I did the family photos first this time as Reid’s little sister’s nap time would have been too close to the end of the photo session, and the goal is to have happy children when taking photographs. Ainslie, Reid’s big sister, reminds me of a porcelain doll…just gorgeous! She has little blonde curly locks…which was so precious when she was dressed in a pure white dress. I photographed the two of them in white on white background (bed) and it looks so pure and innocent. Mom brought a dandelion puff (not sure what the technical name would be) to include in all the family photos, as this was used to represent a baby she lost at approximately 20 weeks. This baby will never be forgotten and will always be apart of the family forever. This baby may only been apart of this world for a very short time, but the love a family feels is instant. I feel so blessed that Mom shared her beautiful story with me, I felt honored to be able to provide her photos that she will cherish forever 🙂
