I started entering some of my images into the Shoot and Share photo contest over the past few years to challenge myself to keep improving my art. I was super nervous the 1st year I submitted photos in fear that I wouldn’t do very well, and would feel defeated. To my surprise, I did so much better than I thought. Ever since, I have faithfully entered in my favorite photos from my maternity, newborn, children, and family sessions from each year. It is getting harder to pick as my standards are going up and I expect even more from myself. The one thing that I loved about this contest was it was FREE and anyone could vote on the images. The most votes would place in the top 10. I have consistently improved over the years and this year I am super excited to share that one of my St. Albert maternity photos placed 9th overall. I have shared all the images that made it in the top standings so you can see how far I have come. I hope you enjoy.
